Year 5 and 6 gymnasts from Bathford C of E Primary School have enjoyed great success at a BANES gymnastics competition held at Baskervilles Gym recently.
Squad 1 of Felicité, Jasmine, Kodi, Lauren and Niamh won first place overall and will be going on to represent BANES in the County championships. Squad 2 of Daisy, Elly, Hattie, Lily and Phoebe, came in second place. In the individual medals, Niamh came first, Lauren second and Elly came third.
Bathford’s Headteacher, Karen Sykes, said, “What a hugely successful afternoon and congratulations to all the girls who really shone, not only with their talents but also with their exemplary behaviour. A great afternoon was had by all the girls who attended.”
