The enchanting world of Sarah and Duck is brought to life in a brand-new stage show at the egg theatre, Bath, featuring the wonderful characters from the BAFTA Award-winning CBeebies show.
Told through a blend of puppetry, storytelling and music, Sarah and Duck’s Big Top Birthday will take the young audience and their families on a magical adventure.
Join Sarah and Duck and a host of their favourite friends including the Ribbon Sisters, The Shallots, Flamingo & John and Umbrella, as they plan a birthday party for Scarf Lady in their garden.
The production runs from 9-17 September, with tickets £12 / £10 children.
The TV series follows the adventures of Sarah, a kind, polite seven year old girl and her best friend, Duck, a mallard. The central theme is the relationship between these two characters and the adventures they have together, emphasising the learning themes of ‘Friendship and Imagination’ and ‘Problem Solving’.
The animated television programme first appeared on CBeebies in 2013, winning the BAFTA for Pre-School Children’s Animation in the same year. It has since been broadcast around with world, with audiences in Japan, Scandinavia, Portugal, Germany, Israel and Canada.
This stage adaptation first appeared at London’s Polka Theatre in April this year, and now visits the egg as part of a nationwide tour.
