News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Riverford is running a series of Veg Masterclasses which are described as being great for parents wanting to learn cooking skills and new healthy veg recipes.

These two-hour, hands-on cooking classes are designed to provide ample veg inspiration – and the chance to see whether a Riverford veg box is for you.

Together you’ll turn a brimming box of veg, fresh from the Riverford farm, into an inspirational organic feast. You’ll get stuck in, learning lots of essential skills – such as the best way to slice greens and segment citrus, and how to make sure your onions never catch in the pan.

It’s very relaxed – people of all abilities are welcome, and the classes are small to give plenty of chance for questions and individual guidance.

The dates and locations for the masterclasses are –

Friday 13 October, Marshfield Community Hall, 7-9pm

Thursday 2 November, Midsomer Norton Town Hall, 7-9pm

Wednesday 8 November, Longwell Green Community Hall, 7-9pm

Places are £25, for the class and after the class, you all sit down to enjoy the meal over a glass of organic wine or beer.
