News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Snowed off in March due to the Beast From The East, the new date for the Bath City Football Club special Family Day will be Saturday 14 April, when City will be taking on Hungerford Town at Twerton park.

With activities taking place from 1pm, including an inflatable beat-the-goalie in Randall’s Bar, face-painting, meet the players and a half-time youth football match on the pitch – as well as the actual football – there’ll be plenty to keep visitors of all ages entertained.

Plus, the first 500 children (over the age of three years) to arrive for the match will receive a free mini-foam football, while everyone will be offered a free football clapper, to help create what is expected to be a fantastic atmosphere.

Local pizza people Fire and Brew Pizza will be there too, with a pop-up pizza oven to provide delicious match day treats.

“We’ve cut prices to help welcome as many families as possible, meaning that two adults and two children will pay a total of just £20, which is a saving of £10 over full individual entry prices, and £5 less than our normal family ticket” explained Bath City director, Jon Bickley. “All families are welcome, but you must be accompanied by at least one child and a maximum of two adults. You can add additional adults and children at standard prices.”
