Places are currently available at the Hut Pre-School in Twerton, Bath for September 2018. The pre-school, which is situated next to St Michael’s Primary School, provides an experienced, friendly and qualified team, including an early year’s professional teacher and staff with 25 plus years’ experience.

The Hut is managed by the Bath Area Play Project, and offers places for children from birth to starting school, including support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Graded Good by Ofsted, the Hut currently has funded places for two and three year olds, between the hours of 9am-3pm. However, the team is looking at the option of extending their service hours, and if the demand is high they will be extending those hours to cover 8am through to 6pm. If you want to place your child with the team at the Hut from September and need the extended hours being considered, now is the time to talk to the team at the Hut.

Among the play facilities available for children at The Hub are a specific carpeted room with Home Corner, dressing up clothes, books and tapes, a huge selection of toys and equipment, a further play room with play equipment, a room for messier play including painting, sticking and glitter, a soft play room and a wonderful garden with bikes, trikes and other ride-ons, fixed play equipment, a bike track, places to hide and plenty of water and sand!

“I don’t know what we would have done if my children didn’t come to you at The Hut,” explained one local mum. “Thank you so much for all the support that you gave to me, sometimes just someone to listen to me about how I feel, made me feel valued”

“Even though i have to drive 20 mins to get here it’s got a lovely atmosphere and the garden area and mud kitchen is great,” added another mum.
