News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

In the countdown to Christmas, new members at local Better leisure centres can get involved in a special initiative in aid of a local charity.

Better is asking for anyone looking to sign up to a membership at any of its leisure centres across Bath & North East Somerset in November to donate a toy (terms apply) instead of paying a joining fee.

All of the toys collected will be donated to Sporting Family Change and in return, not only can customers bring a smile to local families, but can also receive up to £35 off when joining on a Better Health and Fitness membership before 30 November 2018.

Sporting Family Change use sport to empower, inspire and motivate local families in Bath and the surrounding area to making positive long-term lifestyle changes, creating opportunity for all. The charity offers fun sports and healthy activities to improve fitness and build confidence. This helps inspire and motivate the whole family, encouraging them to raise their aspirations and make positive long-term lifestyle changes.
