Adult Community Learning students at Bath College have received their hard earned certificates.
At Bath College, the Adult Community Learning programme provides a wide range of courses aimed at those who want to improve their chances of finding work, support their family or live independently. These courses will involve free English and Maths assessments to those who have not already obtained a C or above at GCSE.
The courses range from CV Masterclasses to Animal Care, and all are provided free of charge. They’re also designed to be led in small groups by supportive and experienced tutors, as well as being fun and engaging.
One learner said, “I would like to say to anyone who is thinking of doing an English course, do it. Please don’t do what I did and put it off for so long. I had no skills at the start but I’ve worked to gain Level 1 and 2. I have met some wonderful people and I look back with pride in myself.”
