News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

A group of students at Clarendon Academy in Trowbridge were recently rewarded with a film, popcorn and drink in recognition of their hard work in achieving 100 reward points.

The school, which runs a regular film club for the upper school and for the lower school, treated the students with a showing of Incredibles 2, which was was well received by everyone taking part.

“I was incredibly proud to have these students come and enjoy a film, some popcorn and a drink,” commented Miss Sarah Newton, Assistant Headteacher – Pastoral. “As a school we like to reward students for doing the right things and encourage the students to gain as many points as they can. This rewards system has proved very popular in school, as we have taken the time to arrange prizes that they want to earn. We regularly celebrate these reward check points and send letters home to the student’s parents.”
