News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Places are now available for at the open week for the St Saviour’s School Nursery, which takes place in October.

The purpose-built nursery for two and three year old is in the grounds of the new St Saviour’s School Collaboration in Larkhall, Bath, and offers an extensive indoor and outdoor education, with the added bonus of being able to access the Infant School and Junior School sites. Children at the nursery will have access to large open nature spaces, sports pitches, large sand pits, water play and a play bus.

In October, Joe Beament (Executive Headteacher of the St Saviour’s Collaboration), Sophie Hunt (Head of St Saviour’s Infant School) and the nursery team will invite families to visit the nursery during an Open Week. Visitors will be invited to look around, ask questions and find out more about the Nursery Provision.

“I am passionate about creating an environment and collaboration that is fun and exciting, keeping children engaged and happy so they do well and the Nursery is a huge part of this vision,” explained Mr Beament. “The nursery has strong child-centred values that underpin a happy learning environment. This collaboration creates wonderful opportunities for the children and staff to share different ideas and reflect on teaching, play and learning approaches across nursery, infant and junior school phases. We will ensure we offer a world class education for every child in the St Saviour’s family – it’s an exciting time for everyone involved!”

The St Saviour’s Nursery Open Week will take place from Monday 14 October to Friday 18 October, between 10am and 2pm.
