News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Oldfield School has announced that once again its number of A*-A grades has continued to rise, with nearly 22% of all grades being A* or A.

Graham Nash, Head of Sixth Form, said, “We are enormously proud of our A Level students and their success in their final examinations. Freya Spear and Tom Willis are both deserving of a special mention as they both achieved A*AA in their examinations, and have secured places to study English literature and law respectively at Cambridge University. We are enormously proud of all our students and their hard work that has allowed them to take the next steps in their education.

“This cohort was the last of Oldfield School’s rather small year group. The Sixth Form continues to grow, as next year it is expecting over 100 new Year 12 students in September. There is no doubt that this continued popularity is based on Oldfield School Sixth Form’s reputation for academic excellence, small class sizes and high quality pastoral care.”
