Congratulations to Combe Park Pre-school in Bath which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with a party in the woods at Newbridge Junior School. This special event saw the pre-school children enjoying a treasure hunt, mud pie cooking, den building and a game or two of hide and seek, all followed by a picnic and a celebratory cake.
Combe Park manager, Sue Scudamore, recalled, “When we started back in 1992 we had just 12 children per morning sessions, before moving on to full days and 18 per session. It’s wonderful that we now see those original children all grown up and with children of their own!
“This is a great time to thank all the parents and children who have supported the group during that time. It has been an amazing 25 years with almost 1,000 children having attended the pre-school over that time – and we’re looking forward to seeing many more in the years to come!”
