Girls from 30 local primary schools recently attended a series of workshops at the Royal High School in Bath recently in preparation for the RHStival. The 80 year 4 and 5 pupils had the chance to try their hand at dance, drama and music workshops, before treating their parents to an informal dance performance.
Following the performance, the RHStival itself took place, with drinks, cakes and ice creams available for visitors, who were treated to musical performances from both junior and secondary fields, as well as the school’s gospel choir.
Among the schools who took part were Bathford, Bathwick St Mary, Combe Down, Corsham, Freshford, St Mary’s RC, Moorlands, Neston primary, Newbridge, RHS Juniors, Saltford, St Andrews, St Johns Catholic Primary, St Mary’s RC Chippenham, St Saviours, St Stephens, WASPS and Widcombe.
