If your children would like to enjoy a dance themed party, a new company that has just started in Bath, Bristol and the surrounding area could be just the thing. Dance Parties Rock provides dance themed parties for children aged 3-16 years, with owner Mel West adapting the theme of the events to the requirements of guests, as well as the venue where the party will take place.
“I’ve been involved in dance projects and parties for 20 years, and know how to organise the perfect dance party to make even the little ones feel like a star on their special day,” explained Mel. “When we work with children aged from three to six years with our Mini Moovers parties, we focus the fun on dance games, using all sorts of props such as parachutes, so that everyone can get involved. Then for older children up to 16 years with our Dance Groovers parties, we can work on routine for them to practice to the song of their choice, which they can then perform to the parents at the end of the party. Throughout, our packages include dances, dancing, props and themes, as well as birthday gift.
“As part of the experience we can also provide make-overs including glitter make-up and temporary tattoos. And the great thing is, we can make sure that everyone gets involved, event those who aren’t natural dancers.”
Mel added that her parties are for up to 20 children and can take place at the venue of the customer’s choice, with Mel supplying all the music equipment. She also organises parties for adults, including hen parties and corporate events.
