Devizes Market Place will once again be a hive of activity as Wiltshire Wildlife Trust hosts its annual Country Comes to Town event between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 22 September.

Activities for the day include the popular birds of prey display, the opportunity to meet farm animals, craft activities, bird box building, face painting and a vintage steam engine display. Attendees can purchase produce from local suppliers including Wiltshire Bee Company and Meadow in my Garden, as well as tasting some of Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s own produce such as apple juice.

Dugald McNaughtan, Head of Fundraising and Communications, explained, “Country Comes to Town is a fantastic free day out for all the family. We look forward to welcoming visitors of all ages to Devizes, to have fun and learn more about the valuable work that Wiltshire Wildlife Trust does across the county.”
