Comedy thriller Awful Auntie promises an action-packed Half Term family treat – complete with a Great Bavarian Mountain Owl – as David Walliams’ award-winning children’s book appears on stage at Bath’s Theatre Royal.

Recommended for everyone aged 5 to 105, family audiences can expect to be thoroughly entertained as David Walliams’ amazing tale of frights, fights and friendship, is brought to life in an action-packed stage production performed by a talented cast of five actors led by Georgina Leonidas as Stella Saxby (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2, The Basil Brush Show, Les Misérables).

When Stella sets off to visit London with her parents, Lord and Lady Saxby, she has no idea her life is in danger! Waking up three months later, only her Aunt Alberta can tell Stella what has happened. But not everything Alberta tells her turns out to be true and Stella quickly discovers she’s in for the fight of her life against her very own awful Auntie!
