The Photo Club has launched a number of photography workshops and courses for children in the Bath and West Wiltshire region.
The Photo Club is a new initiative that aims to inspire young people to use their creativity with a camera. It offers a wide range of programmes and workshops to meet all young people’s needs, while also promoting mental health and wellbeing, creativity, self-expressions, imagination and motivation, all within an fun environment.
Among the workshops being offered are –
Photography Christmas Card Workshop
This one day workshop for children aged from 7-15 years gives participants the skills and opportunity to photograph their very own Christmas cards, learn how to compose images and how to use a digital camera, with the favourite photograph from the day being turned into 10 Christmas Cards.
The workshops runs from 11am-12.30pm at Sydney Gardens in Bath and costs £30 a person.
Seasonal Creative four week course
Running from 21 Nov – 12 Dec and aimed at children aged 11-15 years, this creative course will include making camera filters and designing Christmas cards. £70
New Year Project
Running from 7 Jan – 11 Feb, this course will offer the chance to learn photography tips and techniques, as well as building a sketch book or blog to reflect on the chosen project title. Activities will be set each week to help participants progress at their own speed. The end of the project will include a special gallery event! £120
