News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Two thirds of Prior Park College A Level students have achieved A*-B grades. High achievers this year include Maisy Honey and Ada Zhen, who are now off to Oxford to read English and Biochemistry respectively. Sam Lawton achieved 4 A*s and will take his place at University of Bath to read Engineering.

International students also performed exceptionally well, particularly as these exams are taken in their second language. Kristina Foo secured two A*s and two As, Patch Manovilas and Tina Zhen (twin sister to Ada) achieved one A* and two As.

The College is equally proud of its students who have reached and indeed exceeded their own expectations. Toby Gerrish is one such student – he is the first from his family to go to university and will study Sports Analysis at Cardiff, where he will also continue his passion for playing rugby.

The College has done well across all subject departments with English, MFL, textiles, mathematics, economics, geography, biology, Latin, classical civilisation and theology receiving up to 100% passes for A*-B grades.

Headmaster Mr Murphy-O’Connor commented, “These results are testament to the commitment of and sheer hard work of our students and to the dedication and inspiration of our teaching staff. It is wonderful to see so many of our students gain a place at their first choice university to study such a broad variety of subjects. We wish them continued success for the future.”
