News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

As part of October’s national Mental Health Day, All Hallows School supported the #HelloYellow campaign. By wearing something yellow and donating over £300 to YoungMinds (www.youngminds.org.uk), the All Hallows community was spreading the word that whatever you’re going through, you are not alone with your mental health struggles. The school even served yellow rice pudding to bring an extra smile at lunch!

All Hallows Head, Dr Richards, is an Educational Psychologist who believes passionately that “good mental health ensures pupils are happy, healthy and well supported to meet the numerous and varied challenges that their childhood will throw at them. Whilst we cannot predict the future, it is vital to support children according to their individual need. Ultimately, numerous studies have proven what you instinctively know as a parent; that happy children are more likely to succeed and will be better prepared for lifelong learning.”

This lovely quote from Sadhguru, “Health is when every cell in your body, is bouncing with joy,” is something for us all to aim for.
