The staff and pupils of Oldfield Park Pre-school in Bath have said a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the community fund in Oldfield Park which resulted in a cheque for £2,878 being donated to the pre-school.
“We are thrilled with the donation and look forward to enhancing children’s experiences in the pre-school,” said manager, Carron Cummins. “We are a charity run pre-school, supporting local children and families, so this will really benefit the Oldfield Park community as a whole.”
Carron added that the money will be used to take the 28 children at the pre-school to see Snow Mouse at the egg theatre in Bath. “As we have recently relocated to new premises at Oldfield Park infant school, we will also be improving our outdoor learning area including new surfacing, new equipment and outdoor planting, with the aim of encouraging children to learn about their outdoor environment,” she explained.
