News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Spaces are now available for children from 0-4 years at YMCA nurseries across the Wiltshire and Bath region.

“Whether you are a working professional or a parent accessing government funded hours, our professional staff teams will welcome you and your child to our nurseries,” explained Sarah Clover, Director for Children’s Services at the YMCA.  “Across Wiltshire from Lyneham to Westbury, as well as in Bath City Centre, we have 100 staff members in our nurseries, all professionally trained and immersed in making your child’s day happy and fun.

“The nurseries are open from 8am to 6pm and offer child-focussed environments both inside and outside, encouraging children to explore and be as creative as they like along their first journey in education. We also offer childcare places that are fully flexible and can accommodate most parents needs.”

In addition to the nursery provisions, Sarah explained that the YMCAs offer three out of school clubs in the Bath for children aged 4-11 years. “Parents tell us time and time again how much their children love coming and how happy they are to leave them in our fully inclusive care. Our programme for the holiday club in Bath is packed with exciting events and bookings come in fast, especially over the Easter and summer holidays.”

Activities at the holiday clubs include art and crafts courses, physical fun and child-based sports. For full details and to book please, go to www.bathymca.co.uk
