Bath Festivals is back with the fifth edition of its weekly guide to just a few of the amazing gigs, concerts, shows, exhibitions and more that you can enjoy online while staying at home this weekend. This latest update includes Shakespeare at the Globe, the chance to singalong with The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine and rock out with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Green Day and Janelle Monae.

Fostering In Wiltshire is holding an online Fostering Information Service on Facebook on Wednesday 29 April at 1.30pm. The presentation promises to be very informative and will provide a good overview of foster care and its benefits. There will be a live Q&A session and also a live interview with a foster carer to give you an idea on what foster care is like in real life.

The Trauma Recovery Centre in Bath is just a wonderful organisation that helps children and young people recover from trauma, and support them as they piece their lives back together. They’ve also now started a YouTube channel especially designed to help families and carers who are finding this unexpected season difficult, including help on how children can find calm, find help to wash their hands or simply enjoy a story with the TRC team.

Wild Edge are offering their adventure lessons covering camp out cook outs, bushcraft skills, navigation and more for parents/ children to follow on their Facebook page for free. The sessions will take place on Wednesdays over the next 40 weeks.

The Museum of East Asian Art has added to its online series of resources and activities inspired by its unique and curriculum-friendly collection, with the aim of supporting teachers, families and primary school children with accessible, creative and educational activities.

The latest resource looks at the flower viewing festival in Japan, known as Hanami.  It also mentions how different cultures celebrate the festival, not only in Japan, but China and Korea too. Learn how to tell the difference between types of blossom, have a go at writing Japanese characters (kanji) or a haiku poem, and even design your own floral kimono!

Unique Voice in Bristol, which provides stimulating and creative activities to help children develop better communication and social skills, has produced its own activity pack. This includes a Trashion Show where fashion meets recycling, how to create your very own comic book, sock puppets and yes, of course, slime!

BBC iPlayer and the Red Button are hosting Bitesize Daily programmes each weekday for learners aged five to 14.

Expert teachers have worked with us to create these fun-packed programmes full of learning and inspiration. Each programme will include a combination of core subjects like English, maths and science, as well as other subjects such as history, geography, music and french.
