Bath Soft Cheese is running a groceries home delivery service to villages to help families during the current challenging times.

“Like so many small rural businesses, we are throwing our resources behind efforts to help feed people self-isolating,” explained Nick Rose, Consumer Sales and Markets Manager at Bath Soft Cheese. “We have created a grocery home delivery scheme to serve Kelston and villages in the local community – Bitton, Weston, Saltford, Newbridge, Northstoke, Swineford and Upton Cheyney. 

“The items available for delivery include fresh organic milk, free range eggs, cheeses, bread, fruit and vegetables meals and homemade goodies.  The full list of items is available on our website

The always excellent Music For Miniatures has told us about the Humbugs Singing for Sanity online sessions for mums with little ones. Join with other mums and sing grown-up songs whilst the kids are in the background!

The Art Cohort in Bath is offering doorstep deliveries of art and craft supplies, with free, contactless delivery in Bath and the surrounding area. Deliveries made weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays.

To help you keep active at home over the coming weeks, Team Bath is putting together a ‘stay in, work out’ weekly timetable bringing together the best fitness advice and free LIVE classes from the Team Bath trainers, plus other great online content.

Every week their trainers – as well as Matt Gleed, master trainer with our gym suppliers Matrix, plus their colleagues at The Edge – will be running live classes that you can join in from your home.

The Longleat virtual safari has gone live, giving viewers the chance to still enjoy the experience of travelling through the world-famous Safari Park from their own homes.

Freckles Childcare is raising money to provide NHS Key Workers with fully funded childcare. 
Team Freckles is working for free and its nannies have volunteered to work for a lower rate than normal, so that the money raised can go further. They’re working to provide childcare at all times of day and night (including weekends) – so that those in the NHS can go into work whenever they’re needed and save more lives.

During lock down, the Kruger National Park in South Africa is doing two game drives a day live on You Tube. The morning drive is 5.30-8.30am and afternoon drive is 3.30-6.30pm. The game rangers try to answer questions that pop up. They’ve discovered a hyena who has 3/4 day old pups which they check on each drive.
