News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Bath Festivals is looking for a sponsor to provide a British Sign Language interpreter for its autumn online children’s book festival, Reading is Magic.

This is a unique opportunity to reach a global audience, support a local arts charity and make a huge difference to deaf children.

Bath Festivals is looking for a sponsor for British Sign Language interpreters for its first Reading is Magic digital festival 27 Sept-2 Oct 2020. This free, inclusive and engaging festival for schools and families has been inspired by Children’s Laureate, Cressida Cowell, author of How to Train your Dragon, who will also be leading sessions at the festival. Children’s TV presenter Karim Zeroual (who was also runner-up in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing) is presenting the events for Reading is Magic.

The Bath led festival will be joined by the audiences of other festivals in the UK and abroad and events will be available live and to watch post-festival.

The cost of BSL signage is £3,000. The social media reach of all partner festivals stands at more than 37,000. Sponsor logo to appear on the Reading is Magic website, before and after each of 22 events to be streamed into local, national and international schools.
