Children and staff from the Holt Pre-school in Wiltshire are taking on a marathon challenge to raise £5,000 to go towards a much needed re-build of their current home.

Inspired by the incredible fundraising efforts of Captain Sir Tom Moore, on 21 November the children’s own marathon challenge will see them completing their own 5km walk to collectively clock up a marathon and then some. The children will take part while staying within their own family bubbles and in true marathon style, everyone will be in fancy dress too!

“We are so excited about our fundraising day on Saturday and the children are getting ready to don their wellies and fancy dress,” said Anna Mundell from Holt Pre-school. “Holt Pre-school is an integral part of our village community which has supported generations of families through their early years education and we would love to help them achieve the funds needed for a much needed new building.”

“The children have created a wonderful video in support of their walk, which can be watched here . We challenge anyone not to smile at this!”
