Congratulations to the children and staff from Abbot Alphege Academy in Bath who took part in the Schools’ Race for Life and raised £720 in support of Cancer Research UK.
“We all tried our very best to walk or run (or a combination) 5 km, which we measured to be 30 laps of our school field,” explained Head Teacher, Vicky Dupras. “We are so lucky to have such a wonderful and supportive school community who were very generous in their sponsorship, donating a whopping £720!”
“We have had a wonderful day, all taking part in this fun event for such an important charity. We are so grateful to everyone who donated so generously. I am immensely proud of our children and our staff who all joined in with this today.”
