News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Stagecoach Bath is holding Holiday Workshops during the Summer Holidays for children aged four to six and six to 18 years old.

Taking place at Hayesfield Lower School in Bath, the workshops offer fun-packed, five day courses which include singing, dancing and acting. On the final day, family and friends are invited to watch the children’s performance.

The courses are led by enthusiastic, energetic and DBS checked teachers, who are ideally trained to help the students to really enjoy learning new skills. There’s no need for the children taking part to have previous dancing, singing or acting ability, and no auditions are required – just a willingness to give it a go and enjoy themselves.

“I love our holiday workshops, it’s amazing what the children achieve in just five days,” said Sandra Mayo, Principal at Stagecoach Performing Arts. “It’s wonderful to see the children make new friends, learn new skills and work together as a team to produce a fantastic showcase for parents to watch at the end of the week. It’s always a very rewarding experience and just another reason why I love being part of performing arts.”

The workshops from Monday 9 August – Friday 13 August 2021, with the Early Stages (4 to 6 year olds) taking place from 9.30 – 12.30, and the Main School  (6 to 18 year old’s) 10.00 – 16.00. The cost for the courses is £85 for Early Stages (sibling fee £50) and £140 for the Main School (sibling fee £100). Childcare Vouchers and Tax Free Childcare Vouchers are accepted.
