Two students from Stagecoach Bath have been offered representation with the Tarquin Talent Agency.
Beau aged 9 and Ebony aged 14 secured their place after attending an Audition Experience. These sessions are offered to Stagecoach students throughout the year via the Tarquin Talent Agency (formerly known as the Stagecoach Talent Agency).
The sessions see students audition in front of a working casting agent with over 20 years industry knowledge in auditioning and casting children and young performers.
These sessions are run in small groups at various venues, with the students receiving instant feedback and advice. Students prepare a short monologue along with some additional script. They also have the opportunity of a professional headshot session with award winning portrait photographer Mark Davis.
Both Beau and Ebony were both successfully recruited from their session and have both been signed up by the Tarquin Talent Agency.
Stagecoach Principal, Sandra Mayo said, “This really is a fabulous opportunity for our students. These sessions are a wonderful way for students to experience the audition process, receiving invaluable feedback and the opportunity to have a professional headshot. I am thrilled for Beau and Ebony who were lucky enough to be offered representation by the Tarquin Talent Agency. This is a huge achievement as only a few students are chosen across the Stagecoach network. How exciting for them to be taking their first steps into the world of professional performing.”
Beau, who has been at Stagecoach Bath for nearly four years, said, “When I found out I had been chosen by the Tarquin Talent Agency I felt so thrilled and excited! For me it is an exceptional opportunity. I love performing and hope to become an actress one day.”
Ebony, who has been at Stagecoach Bath for eight years, said, “I couldn’t believe it when they contact us to say I had got in – it’s like a dream come true! I’m looking forward to lots of fabulous opportunities.”
