Go on, you deserve it – an evening out without the children to enjoy a wine tasting event with the experts from Novel Wines of Bath. ‘The Cradle of Wine’ Georgia & Armenia Wine & Cheese Tasting in Bath, Thurs 4 November 2021 at 6.30PM. £25.
Ben from Novel Wines has picked a selection of six wines from Georgian producers Dugladze and Tbilvino and Armenian producer ArmAs, giving tasters an insight into indigenous grapes being made in the ‘Cradle of Wine’. Both Armenia and Georgia lay claim to being the birthplace of the vine, so here’s a chance try their wines and see what you like best! All wines will be paired with cheese from our local cheesemonger, Nibbles.
5-Course Fine Dining Tasting Menu by Henry’s Paired with Novel Wines, Bath, Weds 10 November at 7PM. £75
Enjoy a delicious five course dinner prepared by chef Henry Scott, paired with a selection of wines from Novel Wines. Novel Wines has picked a welcome sparkling wine and five wines to go alongside Henry’s tasting menu. Tasters can choose either a meat or vegetarian option, and the full menu details will be released closer to the evening as Henry’s menu is updated seasonally to showcase the finest local produce.
Ben from Novel Wines will introduce you to each of the wines as you enjoy your meal and let you know the provenance of each bottle and why it was chosen.
