News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Dodgeball is back, with clubs open again at venues and schools in Bath, Chippenham and Trowbridge. Organised by South West Dodgeball, a series of clubs are available for a variety of age ranges from 11-16 years old and 16 and upwards.

“We are keen to welcome new members to all three of our clubs” explained head coach James Robinson. “Dodgeball develops a wide range of skills including throwing, catching, dodging, communication and teamwork. There is a place for all ages and abilities, whether you are a complete beginner or have a rocket arm, super catching hands or quick dodging feet. Several of our members have even used the sport for their Duke of Edinburgh awards.

“We hope that with some new recruits we shall be able to run a tournament between all three clubs in the near future, as well as inviting clubs from other parts of the country to join us. Our adult teams are already back competing in the national governing body British Dodgeball leagues and so it would be great to give our junior players some competition soon too.”
