News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Easter is the perfect time to explore Bath & North East Somerset Council’s museums, with special Easter events and activities for all ages.

The Roman Baths will stay open until 8pm over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, so that visitors can explore the historic site after hours and enjoy a drink from a pop-up bar beside the Great Bath as the sun begins to set.

For younger visitors, there will be creative craft sessions on selected dates, inspired by the museum collections. Make a Roman-style fridge magnet at the Roman Baths, design your own paper shoe at the Fashion Museum or create a print by rubbing over a textured collage at the Victoria Art Gallery.

Family activities are either free or included in the usual admission price. Admission is free for local residents with a Discovery Card or ID*. The sessions are suitable for children aged three and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
