News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Art scholars at Kingswood School in Bath have shown incredible talent and dedication in their creation of range of artworks linked to the Headmaster’s Four Pillars within the Kingswood Foundation. The young artists were asked to individually create a visual response that combined elements of Caring for Each Individual, Educating for Life, Serving the Community, and Living Sustainably.

The incredible quality of the finished products led Head of Art, Mr Stephen Brown, to comment, “It was a pleasure to watch as the pupils’ ideas developed throughout the Spring term towards a wealth of personal and meaningful outcomes. All of the art scholars worked with flair, skill and creativity to produce a varied and sophisticated exhibition, which is proudly on display in the main building of the school.”

Staff and visitors alike can also appreciate this artwork along the headmaster’s corridor and it is hoped that they will all be showcased in our end of year exhibition.

Headmaster Andrew Gordon-Brown said of the artwork, “I was delighted at the outset that our pupils chose to take on the challenge of bringing our strategic pillars to life through art. They have done a magnificent job and the corridor outside my study is now adorned with the most beautiful creations. Well done to them for the thoughtful creativity on display.”
