Children are being offered the chance to enjoy an introduction to golf and some summer holidays fun at the Soft Play Golf Championships at Kingsdown Golf Club. Taking place every Wednesday at 10am throughout August, the sessions last for 90 minutes and allow children to enjoy four rounds of mini golf with prizes awarded at the end of the session.
The sessions are open to all children, with a focus on any who have never played golf before, with all equipment supplied. Parents are invited to join in or enjoy a cup of coffee in the Kingsdown clubhouse.
“These sessions are all about giving children a really enjoyable introduction to golf in a fun way,” said Kevin Wilford, Marketing Director at Kingsdown. “The club recently held a hugely successful Family Day, which showed that there is a real interest in the sport among children, and we’re keen to make the most of the opportunity. We’re a very friendly club with activities and events for all of the family, and it’s always great to welcome new visitors.”
