A team from The Bath & Wiltshire Parent is taking on the Circuit of Bath Walk to raise money for Julian House to help people experiencing homelessness.
Every year, Julian House supports over 1,800 vulnerable individuals. These include men, women and young people experiencing homelessness, women and children escaping domestic abuse, adults with learning difficulties and people who need support after leaving prison.
To help raise money for Julian House, The Bath & Wiltshire Parent team is joining walkers for across the region as they take on the 20 mile Circuit of Bath Walk on 25 September. The walk is split up into five sections, with participants welcome to complete as many of those segments as they would like.
Along the way, the walkers will get the chance to enjoy the outstanding natural beauty that surrounds the outskirts of Bath, while appreciating this historic city and its countryside in a whole new way.
“We’re so pleased to be taking part in this wonderful event and helping to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause,” said Ian Waller, editor of The Bath & Wiltshire Parent, who will be joined on the walk by Features Editor Hannah and Events Editor Susy. “As a Bath dad of three, I know how easy it is to see all of the wonderful things that Bath has to offer families, but it’s also so important to realise that there are many people rely on the support and help or wonderful organisations such as Julian House. Being part of the Circuit of Bath Walk is a great way to raise crucial funds for this wonderful work.”
