Hayesfield students are celebrating another outstanding year of GCSE success. Over 40% of students achieved an incredible five or more grades at Grade 7 and above, with nearly a quarter of the Year Group achieving 8 or more grades at that standard.
42% of all grades achieved were at Grade 7 or higher. 90% of students achieved a minimum of Grade 4 in both English and Maths, which opens doors and will enable them to achieve their ambitions.
Headteacher Philip White said, “We are incredibly proud of all of our girls. They have shown such fantastic determination to smash through all obstacles in their path to continue the tradition of excellence at Hayesfield. Supported by staff, their families and their peers, they have set the bar high for future cohorts and are role models for us all.”
Helen Sheppard, Year 11 Director of Achievement, added, “Our girls have demonstrated high levels of resilience. Bouncing back from the pandemic they have shown what focused efforts can achieve. They are an inspiring group who will go on to achieve many amazing things.”

Emily Hughes-Roberts (10 Grade 9s), Megan Power (10 Grade 9s and 1 Grade 7), Ella Barker and Hannah Green (8 Grade 9s and 3 Grade 8s), Martha Simmons (8 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s), Emily Walls (8 Grade 9s and 1 Grade 8), Nancy Prynne (7 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s and 1 Grade 7) Livia Brain, Ciara Galvin and Gilah Hammond (7 Grade 9s, 2 Grade 8s and 1 Grade 7), Amelia Lewis and Anna Kitteridge (7 Grade 9s, 2 Grade 8s and 1 Grade 6), Natalie Jackson (6 Grade 9s, 4 Grade 8s and 1 Grade 7) and Grace Kitteridge (6 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s and 1 Grade 7).
