News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Corsham’s Blue Sky Festival is an annual celebration of astounding artistic events with a particular focus on family friendly activities. Hosted by The Pound Arts Trust, it’s a week jam-packed with family theatre, children’s workshops, comedy, music and much more.

See beloved children’s book characters come to life with puppetry and music in Mischief and Mystery in Moominvalley; adopt a mystical monster in The Invisible Creature Club; search for a home among the stars in A Strange New Space; or step into a world of rip-roaring laughter and learning with The Blue Badge Bunch.

There’s a shed-load of arts and crafts workshops for little ones to get stuck into, like Build Your Own Butterfly Collection and End of The Rainbow Mural Painting.

There’s also plenty for parents to enjoy in the evenings, including comedy from Ria Lina (BBC’s Pointless and Live at the Apollo), music from guitarist Chris Wood and a talk from legendary music journalist John Robb.

This year’s festival spans the whole of the May half-term, taking place at The Pound Arts Centre in Corsham from Monday the 27th of May to Sunday the 2nd of Jun.
