SILT, the Sustainable Image Lab Trowbridge, a visual arts research studio committed to image making using ecologically sound materials and methods, is running three children’s summer holiday workshops in August

Children’s Cyanotype Printing Workshop

9:30am – 11:00am & 11:30am – 1pm

In this workshop kids can enjoy printing their own cyanotpes whilst learning about eco photography and sustainable art making. The children will choose objects and plants from the SILT studio and arrange them on light sensitive paper to make their prints with sunlight. It’s an exciting lo-impact image making process.

Each child will take away some prints they have made during the workshop.

Aimed at ages 5 – 10 yrs old.

Children’s Leaf Printing Workshop

During this workshop, participants will make using leaves and eco-friendly inks, whilst learning about nature and sustainable art making. At the SILT studio, the participants will select leaves and make beautiful prints directly from them with this hands-on image making process.

Each child will take away some prints they have made during the workshop.
