News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

The Little Gym Bath has added a summer camp for three to 12 year old to run alongside its jam-packed regular weekly schedule.

Running every Monday to Wednesday throughout summer, the morning camps are for three years plus and the afternoons for six years plus. Each week is based on a different theme and encompasses a whole range of wonderful activities from gym time, active games, arts and crafts and skills-building. These are open to members and non-members alike and are £30 for the morning or afternoon session, with option of further wraparound care.

Owner of the gym Fiona said, “We are inspired by the sporting events of the summer, but just as interested in fostering confidence in your little ones as we are in creating future Olympians!

“People often ask me whether we are a competitive gym. We are not a competitive gym as such, but we are competitive for your children and our small class sizes and caps on camp numbers allows our brilliant teachers to really develop your children’s gymnastics skills in a fun and individualised way.

“And the fun doesn’t stop there! We are opening up the gym for a bunch of other exciting activities such as our Parkour and Pizza night on Saturday 10th August from 4.30-6.30pm. This is a parent free evening for children aged six and above, full of jumps, free running and gymnastics, followed by delicious pizza from Bath Pizza Company, and a good night’s sleep guaranteed for your power house kids ages six plus.

“If you are not yet a member at our fabulous gym, we are providing the option of a 10 session drop-in pass, open to parents and carers of children four months to 12 years old. This is a super opportunity to dip your toe in if you are intrigued, or just to bolster those (sometimes long!) summer days.”
