Wookey Hole, the home of Halloween, has unveiled the details of its highly anticipated Halloween festivities for 2024. The event will run on weekends starting 5 October and then every day from 26 October to 3 November.

This annual celebration promises an enchanting blend of legends, witches and entertainment, creating a spooky experience for visitors of all ages.

This year sees an array of exciting activities and attractions for visitors to see and experience at Wookey Hole this Halloween, all included in the standard ticket price.

Witches and wizards of all ages are invited to dress their best and enter the daily fancy dress competition, giving participants the chance to win a return family ticket.

The world-famous Wookey Hole Circus will perform a Halloween show inspired by the by tall tales of ghost ships and spooky pirates. This spellbinding performance is set to captivate and thrill audiences.

We’ve got a fantastic line-up of activities that offer something for everyone in the family, and we can’t wait for visitors to experience all the surprises we have planned!”

Visitors are invited to take part in the Giant Pumpkin Trail and find hidden pumpkins, soak in the spooky ambiance and receive a special Halloween treat when they have finished the trail.

For those seeking a spine-tingling experience, Spooky Golf is a must-try. The adventure golf course will be transformed with a Halloween theme, featuring pumpkins, monsters and other eerie surprises, making it an exciting experience for all ages. There is also a Halloween themed movie in the 4D cinema to add to the fun.

There’s also one last chance for visitors to marvel at the Moon in the caves, transformed into a blood moon especially for Halloween. As guests exit the caves, they will be greeted by the Wookey Hole pumpkin patch, a spectacular sight featuring over 600 pumpkins that adds a touch of magic to the Halloween adventure.

Wookey Hole Villagers also bring an extra touch of fun to the whole proceedings, as they decorate the outside of their homes with whimsical scarecrow witches, and there is a free trail around the village for people to see them.

There is also a Halloween-themed evening production of Magique on 30 October, a captivating blend of magic, illusion and comedy.

For those traveling from afar, Wookey Hole offers excellent staycation packages at the Wookey Hole Hotel, allowing guests to extend their visit and fully immerse themselves in the Halloween magic.

Tickets can be purchased online, from £19 for children and £24 for adults, with discounts in place for concessions and blue light card holders. Early booking is recommended to secure your spot at this highly anticipated event.
