Bath College has announced the appointment of Kevin Hamblin as its new Principal and Chief Executive Officer. Kevin will bring fresh energy and a bold vision to the College, reinforcing its mission to deliver outstanding education and skills training across Bath and the wider region.
Kevin Hamblin joins Bath College following an impressive 24-year career as CEO and Principal of SGS College Group and Filton College, delivering significant transformative growth and innovation.
His passion for education, student success and community partnerships makes him ideally placed to lead Bath College into an exciting new era.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Bath College,” said Kevin. “The College has lost its confidence recently, however there is a strong sense of pride from students and staff and I feel it really has incredible potential. I’m looking forward to building on the College’s strengths, to restore its purpose and to galvanise the local communities and stakeholders to shape a bright, ambitious future for all our learners.”
