Bath Medical Museum in Bath is offering a family-centred day of fun activities on World Heritage Day, Saturday 12 12 April from 11am to 3pm, when volunteers and students from the University of Bath and Bath Spa University will be demonstrating that ‘Water is Best’.

As well as the chance to find out more about the museum’s exhibits and trace the three millennia history of the three hot springs, families of all ages will be able join in all sorts of watery tricks, including the challenge of holding a glass tumbler full of water, upside down, without spilling a drop? It’s a great party trick!
Visitors will also be able to obtain tickets for The Bath Medical Museum family celebration of Midsummer, which takes place on Saturday 21 June in the pleasure grounds of Newton St Loe amidst lakeside walks, a classical temple and a Norman keep. The event begins at 3pm and culminates in an enchanting concert of romantic music in one of the finest concert halls in the south west, Bath Spa University’s Tippett Centre, when local musicians, including some talented children, will be playing a variety of short popular pieces for keyboard.
