Super chef Tom Kerridge among the stars at the Bath Literature Festival

Bath festivals

When the British summer hots up, the Brits can’t resist a spot of barbecuing! And who better than top chef Tom Kerridge to inspire us to cook up some delicious al fresco dishes in our own backyards and gardens this summer?

The best-loved Michelin-starred chef has created the ultimate guide to cooking outdoors, The BBQ Book, which contains 80 delicious recipes for fire and coals. And better still, Tom is coming to Bath to share some of his top tips and hints, as well as tempting our tastebuds!

His dishes include such mouth-watering treats as barbecued prawns with harissa mayonnaise, sticky glazed chipolatas, and spiced lamb chops served with tomato yogurt. Learn how to get those delicious smoky flavours into your aubergines and potatoes, and plus ways to cook fish on coals without it breaking up.

Bath Festivals presents Tom Kerridge live at St Swithin’s Church, Walcot on Thursday 8 May, from 7pm. Tickets are £30, to include a copy of The BBQ Book, so you can start cooking as soon as you’ve fired up the barbie! Standard tickets are £14.
