The Satirev Health and Wellbeing Show – empowering women and girls

Satirev

The Satirev Show is coming to Ralph Allen School in Bath on 10 May, offering a love letter to all women and teenage girls to empower them to advocate for their health and wellbeing.

“We have brought together 38 health and wellbeing experts, sharing their knowledge and expertise on a range of health and wellbeing conditions, providing advocacy, symptom management, health prevention and improving general wellbeing via a variety of workshops, keynotes and an exhibition hall,” explained event organiser Verity Kerr.

“There will be specialist sessions for teenagers held throughout the day, hosted by organisations and charities who work with teenagers and young adults, delivering age-appropriate health and wellbeing advocacy and support sessions. These include MELPCO, Menstrual Health Project, PAYRUS, tastelife, Coppafeel and ADHD UK.

“In addition, there will be sessions for adults who may want to learn more about how to improve their general health and wellbeing or seek out support and / or management for their own current health and wellbeing. We even have a special dad talk, to enable all the dads to ask questions about periods and hormones, and session designed for parents to teach them about teenagers and the impact of their hormones on their mental health and wellbeing.”
