The Paragon School supports neighbouring Twerton Infants with donation of play equipment

A collaboration between two local schools has brought smiles to the faces of young pupils at Twerton Infant School, thanks to a concerted fundraising effort by The Paragon School.

Raising an impressive £1,500, The Paragon School community came together to help furnish Twerton Infants’ newly established wellbeing space, known as The Reef Room. The funds have been used to purchase a range of play and sensory equipment, creating a calming, engaging environment designed to support pupils’ mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Rosie Allen, Head of The Paragon, described the initiative as, “A lovely project for everyone to engage in, helping within our local community.”

The effort saw both staff and pupils at The Paragon rally behind the cause with enthusiasm and care.

George Samios, Headteacher at Twerton Infants School, expressed thanks and said, “We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the Paragon School community. The range of resources is beyond our expectations and will enable us to support many children and bring much enjoyment and delight.”

Now fully equipped, The Reef Room is already proving a hit among pupils at Twerton Infants, who are enjoying the space for play, reflection and sensory activities.
