UBX Bath is hosting a series of Summer Boxing Camps for children aged 10-13 years and 14-16 years.
Led by qualified coaches and open to all young people aged 10-16 years, the camps offer a great opportunity to learn to box in a safe environment, whilst also being coached in a variety of strength exercises.
“Boxing is a great way for kids to express themselves, relieve stress and improve mental and physical wellbeing,” explained Dyan Kenning from UBX Bath. “Exercise is so important for young people to develop their physical and mental wellbeing as they mature into a young adult. Developing a healthy relationship with exercise is one of the most important things a young person can do.”
The camps take place across the summer holidays on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11am-12pm for 10-13 year olds, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4pm for 14-16 years.
The sessions cost £100 for a six week programme of 12 sessions, with a drop-in sessions costing £10 each.
