IKB Academy is celebrating another year of exceptional GCSE results for its Year 11 students. Their dedication, resilience and mature approach to exams have once again raised the bar, with outcomes showing improvement on last year.
These results reflect the unwavering commitment of students and staff, and the school says it could not be prouder of the way learners embraced the challenge. Their hard work has opened doors to exciting opportunities in STEM education both at IKB and beyond.
Among the many successes, several students stood out for their outstanding results:

Jack achieved top grades including Grade 9s in Spanish, Physics, Maths and Chemistry, alongside strong results in Biology, English Literature, Art, Language and Music.

Isaac earned Grade 9s in English Literature and Maths, with high marks across Physics, Chemistry, Psychology and Music. He also achieved a Grade 9 in Spanish which he completed in Year 10.

Josh impressed with Grade 9s in Product Design and Physics, a Distinction* in Engineering and a Distinction in Construction, showcasing his strength in both academic and vocational subjects.

Kat secured Grade 9s in Maths, Physics and Chemistry, with excellent results in Biology and Geography and solid performances across the arts and English.

Jakub achieved a Grade 8 in Maths, Distinction* in Engineering, Distinction in Construction and Grade 7s in Chemistry, Computing and Physics. His results reflect IKB’s focus on a STEM-based curriculum that prepares students for the next stage of education and future careers.
In addition to these standout achievements, many students exceeded their target grades, demonstrating the impact of their own determination, the support of dedicated staff and the strength of the school’s learning environment.
This year also marks a milestone for IKB Academy, with a record number of students choosing to continue their studies in the Sixth Form or at Wellsway School as part of Futura Sixth. The school says this surge in enrolment highlights the quality of education, support and pathways it offers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
