The Rode Comedy Festival returns from Wednesday 27 to Sunday 31 August 2025, bringing six years of top-notch comedy to the heart of Wiltshire. This year promises something truly special for families with the Family Festival Day on Saturday 30 August, packed with interactive shows, workshops, and live performances perfect for children and parents alike.

27 August: Russell Howard – West Country’s own comedy superstar, known for Mock the Week, The Russell Howard Hour, and Netflix specials.

28 August: Russell Kane – Multi-award-winning comedian, presenter, and author with TV credits including Live at the Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.

29 August: Sara Pascoe – Critically acclaimed comedian, author, and broadcaster, appearing on Taskmaster, QI, and The Great British Sewing Bee.

30 August: Jason Manford – Back by popular demand, the UK favorite known for 8 Out of 10 Cats and numerous sell-out tours.

Family Festival Day – Saturday 30 August, 10am–3pm

Dino Dad with Andy Day & Steven Lenton (10.45am) – Children’s TV star Andy Day and illustrator Steven Lenton lead a magical, dinosaur-themed adventure based on their new Dino Dad book series. Book signing and pop-up bookshop available onsite.

The Mighty Kids Beatbox Comedy Show – Interactive beatboxing and comedy antics from Jarred and Hobbit, guaranteed laughs for kids (and adults!).

Jenna Herman Creative Workshops – Hands-on illustration and storytelling fun with acclaimed children’s book illustrator Jenna Herman.
