Wellsway School celebrates the success of the class of 2025

Wellsway School GCSE



Wellsway School is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of its Class of 2025, whose hard work, resilience and determination have culminated in an outstanding set of GCSE results.

At Wellsway, success is built on collaboration and a shared commitment to growth. This year, Year 11 students have demonstrated not only academic excellence but also the character, kindness, and perseverance that will serve them well in the years ahead.

Wellsway 1

Headteacher Rob Pearsall praised the students, saying, “This year group has grown into thoughtful, capable and compassionate young adults. Their success is shared by everyone who has supported them along the way. We are proud not just of their grades, but of the people they have become.”

Among the many outstanding individual achievements are:

  • Nicholas – eight Grade 9s and two Grade 8s

  • Heidi – five Grade 9s, four Grade 8s

  • George – six Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and one Grade 7

  • Rafi – seven Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and two Grade 7s

  • Samuel – seven Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and two Grade 7s

  • Alexander – four Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and two Grade 7s

  • Amelie – two Grade 9s, seven Grade 8s and one Grade 7

  • Dorothy – two Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and three Grade 7s

  • Jared – two Grade 9s, four Grade 8s, three Grade 7s and one Grade 6

  • Toby – four Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and two Grade 7s

Executive Headteacher Rob Pearsall, who also oversees IKB Academy, added, “I am equally proud of the exceptional achievements of IKB students. Their commitment to learning and passion for STEM subjects have led to another year of outstanding GCSE results.

For both Wellsway and IKB, there are so many individuals we could name for their achievements. Many have exceeded expectations, and our congratulations go to all our students who have conducted themselves brilliantly throughout their time with us.”

Many students are now set to continue their education within the thriving Sixth Form shared by Wellsway School and IKB Academy. Others will be moving on to college, apprenticeships, and the wider world of work.
