Award-winning comedian, author, podcaster and broadcaster Geoff Norcott is back on tour with his brand-new stand-up show Basic Bloke 2 – There’s No Bloke Without Fire, coming to Komedia Bath on Sunday 21st September 2025.
Geoff has become one of the UK’s most refreshingly funny voices on stage and screen, with credits including Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie to You?, The Last Leg, The Mash Report and Backstage with Katherine Ryan.
A show for the blokes – and everyone who Knows one…
Unlike most sequels, Basic Bloke 2 goes further than the original – exploring what it really means to be a ‘bloke’ in modern Britain. Geoff has long been interested in men’s mental health and what it means when blokes are told to “check in” on each other… only to discover most of them just want to share dodgy memes.
As a dad himself, Geoff also shines a spotlight on fatherhood – asking why dads never seem to get the same cultural credit mums do. From the missing Father’s Day hype to the quiet but vital work dads put in, Geoff offers up his sharp, relatable take on parenting with a heavy dose of laughter.
Above all, this new show sees Geoff roll his sleeves up and say exactly what he thinks – from bad parenting to fussy eaters to people wearing dressing gowns past 9am. Nobody is safe, but everyone will laugh.
