People in Bath who are considering fertility treatment are being invited to a free information evening at Sulis Hospital in Peasedown St John on Tuesday 25 November.
The event, run by Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine (BCRM), will offer clear, practical advice for anyone who is having difficulties conceiving or wants to better understand their fertility options. BCRM runs a satellite clinic at Sulis Hospital, meaning follow-up care can take place locally.

Attendees will hear from three leading specialists in reproductive medicine and surgery: Sarah Armstrong, consultant lead at BCRM’s Bath clinic, BCRM medical director Amanda Jefferys and fellow consultant Guy Morris.
The speakers will explain common fertility challenges, the treatments available, and how BCRM’s holistic approach can support individuals, couples and families. There will also be a chance to ask questions during an interactive Q&A, followed by the option of a short confidential mini consultation.

Sarah said, “For most of the one in six couples who have difficulty conceiving, their problem is not actually infertility but sub-fertility. This means they do have the ability to conceive and any lack of success so far might be remedied with appropriate advice or treatment.
“Before deciding on which fertility clinic to use, we feel it is really important to meet and interact with the consultant who would be looking after you. We hope would-be parents in Bath will make the most of this opportunity to come and meet us on November 25th.”
The evening will include guidance on fertility assessment, IVF, ICSI and IUI, donor services, counselling and treatment support, as well as advice on how to optimise personal fertility.
Any follow-up appointments can take place at Sulis Hospital with consultant Sarah Armstrong. Treatments such as egg retrieval or embryo transfer would be carried out at BCRM’s state-of-the-art clinic at Aztec West in north Bristol.
The event takes place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday 25 November 2025 at Sulis Hospital, Foxcote Avenue, Peasedown St John, Bath, BA2 8SQ. Refreshments will be available.
Attendance is free but places are limited and must be booked in advance on 01761 422288 or online.
BCRM treats heterosexual couples, same-sex couples and single women. The clinic has the highest IVF success rates in the south west of England and Wales. More information is available at www.fertilitybristol.com.
