Families looking for a flexible and affordable Easter holiday activity are being invited to take part in a new Easter Scavenger Hunt across Bath and surrounding villages.
Organised by Friends of Bathford School (FOBS) in partnership with local businesses, the hunt runs from Saturday 28 March to Sunday 12 April 2026 and is designed to fit easily around busy family plans.

Teams can take part at their own pace, completing as few or as many missions as they like during the two-week event. Each completed challenge earns points, with prizes awarded to the highest-scoring teams.
Missions range from quick and playful tasks at home to more adventurous riddles that encourage families to explore Bath, Batheaston, Bathford, Bathampton, Box and Bradford on Avon.
All families need is internet access and a phone or tablet to upload photos for some of the challenges. No special skills are required, making it suitable for children of all ages.
The scavenger hunt is a fundraising initiative, with all proceeds supporting Bathford Primary School. Entry costs £5 per team of up to six people.
First prize is a family ticket for four to LEGOLAND®, with Easter treats for second place and bonus prizes for creativity.
The event is supported by local businesses, many of which feature as mission destinations along the route, helping to fund prizes and keep entry costs low.
Supporting businesses include Camella, Alice Park, Tile & Floor, Miller Kehoe Painting & Decorating, Roasted Lemon Catering & Café, Extracted – Revolutionary Supplements, Toast Coffee House, Vine & Plate, Wadswick Country Store, The Castle Inn and Timbrells Yard.
Alex Reed, Chairwoman of Friends of Bathford School, said, “We wanted to create a fun Easter activity that people could dip in and out of, without pressure or tight schedules. Whether you complete a handful of missions at home or head out to explore your local area, it’s all about having fun together whilst raising money for our school.
“The support from local businesses has been fantastic and has helped make the event possible. Big thanks to all of them.”
